Subj: [kl] Vito Clarinet

While my baby is being pampered by Mr. Naylor,
I have rented a Vito Bb Soprano. The shop had
5 beginners, only one seemed to hold a tune, so
it is the one I now have. They were all "just
reconditioned." This Vito has an interesting feature
in that you can give yourself a manicure on the rough
rings.

Honestly, 35 years ago, (here it comes), my woody
Selmer Bundy was a nice unit, and I never got nicks
and scrapes from it!

: Most stock OEM mouthpieces are. Vito sells a clarinet model
: called a V40
: that is basically a brush-finish Vito with bell ring, nicer
: case, and a
: Woodwind K10M mouthpiece. I have just started using one of

: lists at $795
: vs. $600 for the regular Vito.

: I'm not sure I they are MY favorite flutes, but I own an
: Armstrong, so what
: do I know? We have had a FEW problems with them, but we have
: several local
: private teachers who swear by them.

: If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
