My point is that there is nothing to keep the moisture away FROM inside a
mouthpiece. Padsavers draw the moisture AWAY from the PADS, which are the
part most vulnerable to moisture damage, yet there ARE no pads in a
mouthpiece. But, yes, a mouse with a missing end protector is far more
dangerous than the weight on a swab.
