Although this makes the adjustment harder, it still should be within the
realm of normal technicians. I have a 1940 Pruefer that also has very soft
key metal. Yet each of the techs that has worked on it has mentioned no
special problems. No doubt Clark was after the level of perfection that
only a limited number of people are even capable of whether the horn be old
or new.

However, my main point was intended to be that the it uses or can use the
same pads, corks, and springs used for today's instruments and that being a
Boehm instrument, the adjustment principles are the same.
