No offense taken. I just wondered how you arrived at your negative opinion
about an otherwise highly regarded instrument. As for Jupiter, although I
have not seen their plastic clarinets personally, of the two wood ones I
have played, one was good and the other excellent! Other Jupiter
instruments I have seen and played are of uniformly high quality,
particularly their newest saxophones. NO instrument should be expected to
withstand beginner abuse. You have to TEACH proper care for the instrument.

It should be noted that I AM associated with an instrument dealer, and we
DO sell both Vito and Jupiter, among other brands. However, I am NOT on
commission, and am reporting my OWN experience with these instruments, not
company advertising blurbs.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
