Gavin -

If you have a regular job, you simply mark the handed-out parts the first
time. However, for the important, difficult stuff you need to have under
your fingers for auditions (Beethoven 6th, Midsummer Night's Dream, Daphnis &
Chloe), you need to get your own parts. In fact, it would be best to get
complete scores, too. (See my prior rant on the Beethoven 8th solos.)

I just got the new Jeanne' sheet music catalog, which lists individual parts
for sale. You can request a copy and probably order parts at
<http://www.jeanne-inc.com>.

[For the apostrophe police, the ' in Jeanne' is an acute accent, which
doesn't transmit reliably in e-mail.]

Best regards.
