I did not in any way mean to denigrate Sam Ash. My local Sam Ash is by far
the best overall music store in the West San Fernando Valley. The stock is
spotty because they are slow to restock, but most of the people who work
there are real musicians, the repair shop is decent, and they do stock most
of the premium reeds. They offer decent prices too. I just expected Sam
Ash in Manhattan to be something special and it was just another Sam Ash.
