Agreed, but why get Ken Peplowski when you can get the original (Goodman)
reissues easily. I'm sure Peplowski himself (a wonderful player) would agree.
Most things lose in the copying.
Anyway, in the big band league, Artie Shaw (no relation) shows much more
originality in every respect than most others and there are plenty of good
reissues around (best are those from 1938-9, IMO).
