Subj: [kl] spellings of "embouchure"
Date: Thu, 7 Dec 2000 10:27:43 -0500

For the past six years, I have been reading and participating in discussions
on the double reed list, the flute list, and the clarinet list. Early in
that time, I observed that one word which is regularly used on all the
lists, and regularly misspelled, is "embouchure." I started saving some of
the various versions of this term. Here is a list of some of the
transmogrifications that I have collected. I promise, I didn't manufacture
any of these myself, but found all of them on the internet.
