In Mazzeo's book "The Clarinet: Excellence and Artistry", he devotes a
chapter or two to using the Gay Method. He also has a chapter on scale
book, including Gay, Baermann 3, and my favorite, Hamelin "Gammes et
Exercises" (Leduc).
