Realize that you can only play as well as you can play in that situation and
on that day. If you don't play perfectly than you are not a perfect player
under pressure yet. That isn't the end of the world. If you try to be more
than you are, you will be worse than you are. Think about other things that
are meaningful in your life. Remember this is only one audition, and if you
don't succeed there will be more opportunities. Even Vladimir Horowitz had
stage fright at times, and he was one of the greatest pianists in history.

Hopefully you have more in you life than this one audition. Think of those
things, people who mean something to you, music you love, nature, whatever.
Don't get sucked in to thinking that you are a total failure if you fail
this one time. Be willing to fail, and let it rip.
