Well, yes, you are wrong about that. It may very well need adjustment.
And be advised, my own Noblet bass, similar in design to the Vito, is also
stuffy in the clarion. I recently improved it quite a bit, though, by
removing leaks in the thumb pad, the pad it links to under the throat A ley
lever, and the larger register key pad (the one that opens on the throat
tones) which was opening slightly along with the register pad.
