I didn't see anyone mention these pieces:

Karel Husa - Two Preludes (published Leduc) - quite difficult, and very
"modern" sounding.

Walter Piston - Trio (pub Associated Music) - Like every other piece by
Piston, and it's a nice piece IMO.
