P.S. One of the most effective pictures I've ever seen has been the recently
televised (on PBS) Moody Blues concert, of lead singer Justin Hayward
standing as a silhouette in the darkness, face turned upward, silent and
grooving to the orchestra's shining moments in "Knights of White Satin". He
was clearly deferring to the orchestra's power to create emotion that the
song's words couldn't possibly create.
