Hello all. I am in need of some expert advice. I have purchased a Buffet Bb
clarinet, model E-11 and found that the throat tones play sharp and the high
notes, from around altissimo E and above play flat. I am using a crystal
mouthpiece (which doesn't have a name on it ) and rovner or ripamonti ligs
I've have used this mouthpiece setup on pro horns w/ good results. Any
suggestions ( shorter barrel?...I understand this particular model comes
stock w/ a 67mm barrel) on correcting the intonation problems would be much
appreciated.
I also would appreciate some advice, comments from anyone on the list that
has any experiences w/ the Vito bass clarinets.
