I would like to purchase a professional quality bass clarinet sometime in
the next couple of months, and decided to see if anyone on this list can
help me in my thus-far unsuccessful search. I will be playing it in a
community orchestra, and perhaps a clarinet choir or other chamber ensemble
as well.

The instrument must have a range to low C, and brand is not important (I
generally like Selmer, but not so much that I won't consider other brands).
At this point, due to financial considerations, I need to buy used rather
than new. I would consider buying an instrument that is in less than
perfect condition and needs some work.
