He seems to be doing great. At first he said that he didn't have time to
see me and that he was getting more and more tired as each day went on.
But then he changed his mind and invited me and my sister, Jane, to come
over for a visit. I could tell that he had scrubbed up and dressed up
in his very best suit. He was vibrant and wonderful, also flirting with
my sister. He played a CD for us, of him playing Principal Clarinet on
Shostakovitch's 1st, recorded way back when by the Symphony of the Air,
Stokowski conducting. It was absolutey breath taking. I am so lucky to
have had him as a teacher. I wonder what Tony Pay would think of Weber?
