I bought a Legere reed, 4 1/2 strength, in Norman last summer, and it
worked particularly well for outdoor performances. Here in Colorado the
weather is very hot & dry in the summertime, when I spend a lot of hours
performing outdoors at Farmers Markets. I was able to perform without
any reed problems all summer. For me, personally, I still prefer my
Vandoren 3 1/2 or the new Rico Grand Select "Evolution" #3, but I keep
the Legere reed in my clarinet case at all times, because it always
works. ANNIE
