I'm a little reluctant to post on the general list.

I am extremely happy using the LeGere reeds.

I own about six of them however the first one that I bought I am still
using. I started using this reed 23 MONTHS ago. No Warm up.

I have developed a relationship with Mr Legere. He is now making reeds
in 1/4 strengths.

I have had cane reeds that were a bit better but they were extremely
rare. The LeGere reed is always the same, never giving out in the
middle of a concert and the such.

I am using a # 3 1/2 reed. They do cost $13.00 per reed but considering
that I have used one reed for almost 2 years where as I used to spend
$20.00 month buying Vandoren V 12 reeds. If you are not happy with the
strength, send it back and he will replace it with one of your choosing.

I have a very close friend who retired from a major USA Symphony after 27
years and he said that my tone is more than acceptable
