A "prank" too far.

T. W. says, "Are you confusing the posts Lelia - I am talking about T. P.`s
reply to Neil of the 25th, which went
> Neil said, "the" - [snip] Tony. (P) (signing off)".

T.W. says, "Yes Lelia, I <will> reconsider, but T. P. must apologise to the
list first, and also to Neil. I take issue with your claim that I attacked
T.P.`s character. T.P. attacked both our characters in the first place by
his sourly
clever "snips". It`s uncalled for, and I repeat that in a strong yet calm
tone". He should not do it.

T.W. says, "I had the self discipline 4 - 5 months ago, and "slept on it"
when T.P. was engaged in unpleasantness with other listers. To me, he has
re-emerged as being the same abusive person. I have no wish to "sleep on it"
any longer. If he is abusive to listers, then I intend to tell him, or
anybody - - - I`m surprised Mark Charette hasn`t".

T.W. says, "I wish to be part of an amicable clarinet list. No other person
on this list has given me the impression that (s)he is posing. Why should
even an expert "get away" with ridicule & contempt, inflicted upon believe
it or not, his fellow clarinettists`. To me, that smacks of favouritism,
even "fearful awe".
His views <have> been valued, but I can certainly live without them, as I
enjoy other contributions just as much.
I`m the first to admit I do not possess the amount of intellect which he
does, but if that intellect manifests itself
in an unacceptable way, someone has to make an effort to let that person
know. That happened 4 - 5 months ago, and here we are still trying, and it
is me who is being criticised by some. I don`t care if he can play 3
clarinets all at the same time standing on his head. - (If he could, he
would probably be earning more than at present) - he is still "out of
order". Let`s hope that "big boot" the other day has thrust him closer to
his mirror,
to see if he can really take a better look at himself. Then I will toe the
line and cool it".
Best,
Tony Wakefield.
