I have been playing on a set of Buffet RC Prestige clarinets (Bb and A)
since 1985. At that time (1985), the approximate list price in US dollars
was $4500,
But a set could be purchased for approximately $2500. Today in 2000, the
approximate list price of a set is $11,000, and the cost of a set is
approximately
$5500. To buy just the RC Bb will cost you approximately $2500-3000 (in US
dollars).
