> Here's another hint about where to find repertoire: the AMERICAN MUSIC
CENTER in New York. It is a clearinghouse for AMerican composers' works.
Members send copies of their works to it and these copies are rented out for
perusal, after which time, you can buy the music from the composer.

thing.

I have a complete and up-to-date listing of all the International Music
Centres (International Association of Music Information Centres) at:
http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet/Resources/IntnlMusicCtrs.html . There's a lot
more than just the US and Canada:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia,
Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Republic of
Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ureland, Israel, Italy, Japan,
Lithuania, Luxemburg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia/Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, South
Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA, and Wales all have music
centers.
