Here's the information on the master class:

The Public is Invited to Attend a
Richard Stoltzman Master Class
Friday, December 1, 2000, Seligman Performing Arts Center

Clarinetist Richard Stoltzman will conduct a master class with three area
advanced clarinet students at Seligman Performing Arts
Center in connection with Mr. Stoltzman’s concert appearance with the Chamber
Music Society of Detroit. The master class, which
is free and open to the public, will be held on Friday, December 1, from 1
p.m. to 3 p.m.

The students who will take part in the class are:

Angela Brenton, Wayne State University graduate student of Theodore Oien
of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, performing a
selection from Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, K622;

Michael Wayne, student of Fred Ormand of the University of Michigan,
performing a selection from Nielsen’s Concerto for
Clarinet and Orchestra, Op. 57; and

Jeremy Eig, also a student of Ormand, performing Bartók’s Contrasts with
Lydia Lui, violin and Bonnie Wagner, piano.

The following evening, Saturday, December 2, the Chamber Music Society of
Detroit will present Richard Stoltzman in performance
with pianist/composer, Lukas Foss. The concert will be held at Seligman
Performing Arts Center, located at 13 Mile Road and
Lahser in Beverly Hills, Michigan. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster
ticket centers, including Hudson’s and Harmony House
stores, or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call
