I find it tremendosly exciting that some of these issues may be
describable with a modern PC and some affordable hardware + software.
Before I actually try it, I sent an email to Dr. Pyne. I asked
him if PC software and hardware that is available to an amateur (such as
myself) has any hope of delivering meaningful data.
