Mitchell Lurie told me in 1971 (I think) that Stravinsky once interrupted a
performance because the clarinetist didn't change instruments. He either
didn't tell me who the clarinettist was or I forgot.

As far as "interpretation", Mr. Lurie told me that Stravinsky agreed
personally with putting a fermata on the C#, last note in the 5th last bar in
the last movement. It always made sense to me and I've adopted it althought
it could be argued that it's not what Stravinsky wrote.
