You didn't ask me but I think you opened up another can of worms. (Look
forward to it!)
"Interpret" could mean 1) finding and presenting the meaning and/or the
spirit of the music or 2) superimposing your own more or less good ideas
about the music or 3) adjusting the music for use as a showcase.
Does Mr. Galway advise singing the part as a means of working out the
interpretation? How does he advice going after the magic?
