Dear Mr. Benoit:

1.) You have no idea how much each person practices.

2.) Of course, many players take rhythmic liberties, but that does not mean
that learning to play strictly in rhythm is not absolutely essential.

3.) No one here is trying to be a musical critic.

I myself find about 20% of the messages here personally helpful. Some threads
I ignore, others I jump in and participate like mad. But another person may
find the same posts that I ignore to be the very ones that contain
information or encouragement that they need at that very moment.

My point is that we have many different levels of playing expertise here. We
also have multiple areas of interest. I have found this forum invaluable in
the past few years that I have been participating, and I value the fellowship
and contact with a community of players World-Wide.

Since you hold us "e-mailers" with such distaste...why don't you go back to
the practice room and leave us alone?
