I was once very optimistic about the Zondas. I likes the way they played, but
the cane seemed to soft and porous, and therefore, the reeds dies suddenly,
sometimes mid-concert. The cane itself looked lovely, nice color and straight
grained.

It's good news that they have improved. I am wondering what could be making
the difference.

Roger - are they cut differently, or do you think that they are now able to
offer cane that has been aged longer?
