I went out and looked at the silver (?) Moennig Bros. bass clarinet on eBay.

I would love to get my hands on that instrument, just for fun. I have an old
(1920's?) Buescher Silver tenor sax that has a very soft mellow tone. I
wonder what this bass clarinet sounds like.

However, I don't have $355 worth of curiosity~!

Also, the close up shows a nasty dent. It's very probable that this item has
seen some hard use.

Sure would love to play with it though. Any rich donors out there who want to
salve my curiosity? Fat chance, right?
