I just got my "new" wood clarinet back from the shop (yeah!).
$60 for the instrument + $30 for the repairs = $90 -- not bad!
My question is how long it generally takes to get used a new instrument -- I
loved the tone, other than the squeaks and squawks. How long will that stage
last, why does it happen (you'd think a clarinet is a clarinet) and how can I
get through it quickly?
