During a very "energetic" concert, several years ago, the baton slipped from
my sweaty hand, went straight up, and stuck into the acoustic tile in the
ceiling, right in front of the arch, over my head. Both band and audience
spent the rest of the first half of the concert watching to see if it was
going to come lose and fall, hitting me on the head. <g>
