Actually, this reminds me of that French knight in "Monty Python & The Holy
Grail": "I wave my prrrrivate paaaarrrrts at you! I faaaaaarrrrrt in
yourrrr generrrral dirrrrection!" Same level of maturity, only the comic
effect is lost when you're dealing a middle-aged schmuck who knowingly
deals in stolen property. Anyone who claims to be a collector but then
pays $450 for a superbly-conditioned Selmer low-C bass clarinet HAS to know
the thing was hotter than the griddle of a Viking stove. And as far as
this coming to eBay via a police sell-off, it makes me wonder eeeever so
slightly about the role of New York's "finest" in all this. Yeah, right,
Brutus is an honorable man, no cop ever made a dime on stolen property, and
I'm the rightful heir to the Romanov throne of Russia....
