Subject: [kl] Tongue Piercing

During rehearsal last month for our "Halloween Concert", we came upon a
simular situation. In the middle of one of our pieces is a half note that
the entire band is reqiured to flutter tongue. During this note our hornist,
a young college lad, let out a yell and held his hand over his mouth. Every
body stopped and looked to see the problem. He stuck out his tongue and
displayed a silver ring in the end. Now how he plays with that ring, I don't
know, but he is a gifted hornist and has had no problems till he flutter
tongued.

for?
