selling? >>

I spoke with my insurance company this afternoon. They are planning to
contact legal counsel in New York and do just that. There are some hurdles to
clear for them, but I imagine they need merely to get 'Jim's' real name and
location and a judge will put a stop to the sale. Or, perhaps ebay will as
well.

The insurance company claims they notified the NYPD during 1999 that they
were interested in recovering 'my' clarinets. So I suspect they have a cause
of action against the NYPD as well.

In the meantime, there has not been a single bid on the instrument. Let's do
all we can to keep it that way. Let it be known out there that this
instrument in this sale is stolen. Ebay was completely unwilling to stop the
sale on my say so, but I suspect the insurance lawyers will do the trick. I
hope they follow through.

Will continue updates.
