legalities involved.

However, Jay, with all due respect, and legalities aside, what about morality?

In my view of the world, the "holder" of this instrument, has a MORAL
obligation to get it back into David Hattner's hands. He should also be
compensated for his out of pocket expenses. No more, no less.

That's what I think. When we ONLY live by laws, and stop doing what we
believe is "right", what have we gained, and what have we lost?
