NOTHING TO DO WITH CLARINET

Macintosh are sold with a localized version of the keyboard.

The American standard is called QWERTY (read the top-left corner keys on th=
e
keyboard), the Italian is QZERTY, the French is AZERTY and so on.

In this way every user has the mostly used characters close up. In fact
every language uses some character most than other. In Italian there are no
umaluts (@-----.) and we use only acute accents in a, i, o and u (=E0 - =EC - =F2 -
@-----.

The problem is that every PC is sold with the standard QWERTY (American)
keyboard and this could be a problem for not-american users.

Another problem is that many programs (as Finale) have a keyboard layout
based on the american standard and we have to "transpose" every key in our
Italian keyboard.

For example:

In Finale's manual it is said that you can use voice 1/2 through the '
(apostrophe) key. Well... to me it is @-----.
And since there isn't a localized version of the manual it could be a
problem.
