Mark,

I have not used these guys for clarinet work, but Keith at CenTex music, in
Round Rock, is the go-to guy among the sax players I know here (my
step-son, his director, the sax players at U.T. etc.). CenTex is a
division of Strait Music, but don't go to Strait, go directly to
CenTex. Keith is probably the guy I'll have work on my Bass
next. Supposedly they have a couple of others who are good with
clarinets, and I plan to have them do the next setup on my LeBlancs.

For minor stuff, I use Ed at Northwest Music, but they are in the
process of moving this month and are probably distracted. He is a sax
guy too.

Do you want to play community band? We rehearse on thursdays in
Leander High School (about 1/2 hour north of Arb.) or check out the Austin
Symphonic Band: they're terrific but more selective. You can rehearse with
them as a guest (on tuesdays, I think) on a regular basis, except the
final weeks before a concert.

Cheers (and welcome to Austin, - remember to close the door behind you;-)
