The guys who created the ASCII code (I forgot what that stands for... I'm
sure Mr. Charette or other computer people on the list know though:))
decided that us users might have need for various characters, so they
included them. If you have a version of Windows (as I'll bet most of y'all
do) just go to Start->Find->Files or Folders..., and then type in
"charmap.exe" (make sure you're looking in your C: drive). There's a whole
bunch of neat stuff in there:). (Sorry Karl, I couldn't find any unusual
r's, except for ® (<alt> 0174). A font other than Times New Roman may have
one, though.) If you have something other than Windows, I'm not really sure
how you would be able to find the keystrokes. Hope that helps.

I missed the beginning of this thread, but thought I'd jump in with a
question. I'm writing notes for a local performance of Drorak's Symphony #8.
I can find the í (in Antonín - <ALT> 0237) and the á (in Dvorák - <ALT>
0225), but I can't find a way to do the circumflex that should appear over
the 'r'. Any suggestions?
