Does it absolutely have to be XMAS-like music, or will straight-ahead
classical music suffice? My own flute/clarinet/cello trio is performing
a couple of holiday gigs, and we'll be playing our usual Beethoven trio
transcriptions, Mozart divertimenti transcriptions, and Haydn/Ibert/Mil-
haud/Devienne trios. It's pleasurable music for any crowd -- hey, they
liked us at Carnegie last month! If you'd like to get a hold of tran-
scriptions like these, drop me a note privately and I'll ask our flut-
ist where she got our copies.
