Dear Roger,

Your questions are hard to understand. They seem to be, either elusive, or so
hypothetical that I am having a hard time relating to them. There must be a
particular situation that has you very upset.

As far as taking choir (as an alternative) is concerned, I think all wind
players should be required to sing at some level. Singing helps a wind player
play a wind instrument better. I would also require vocal majors to learn or
to continue playing a wind instrument. Playing wind instruments helps singers
sing better.
