I have a new avocation.....or descended to new levels of Hades........depends
on your point of view.

Our resident Conductor for the Skokie Valley Symphony, Dr. Donald Chen
(Roosevelt University, North Shore Choral Society), has to miss a rehearsal
tomorrow night.

Guess who got asked to take the rehearsal........and who was foolish enough
to accept.

So tomorrow night, I'm leading a full orchestra rehearsal of Brahms Second
Symphony and the Double Concerto.

Been ransacking old drawers looking for my baton!

Wish me luck...I'll need it.

Walter ..... who is frantically studying scores........how the heck do you
read a horn part in E? ....oh heck, get out the Piston Orchestration
book......where's my Elizabeth Green book........should I subdivide the
beginning of the second mvt......HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPp
