Annie, I may not be alone in not understanding what you mean by a
"doubled-up chin." Also I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say
she "doesn't seem to have the ability to play and point her chin at the same
time." Your second paragraph seems to suggest that she did what you were
after successfully, but not when she was actually producing a tone.

One suggestion is that a child at that age probably isn't going to unlearn
any habit in a week. I wouldn't dwell too heavily on this or any other habit
she's built up over the last two years. Attempt any correction persistently
but gently (with as much humor as possible) over as long a time as it takes
(maybe months or longer) and be sure to keep the lessons positive, even as
you work on needed changes.

If you describe the problem more explicitly, I might have more to suggest.
