Pulleeze -- there are many alternative fingerings for the
sometimes-harder-to-hit notes in the high registers. And several publications
show them. You select the ones that best fit your setup and your embouchure.
You should NEVER lip up to hit a high note in tune. NEVER. Just use the right
fingering -- not necessarily the one shown on the chart.

So. For your high F# why don't you try the 2 and 3 fingers in the left hand
and the 1 and 2 fingers in the right hand. Use the register key of course. No
other keys. It will hit an easy (and slightly sharp) F# that is a breeze.
Without the pinching it will be right in tune.
