Hello Bill and William,

i will try the Nova and the Selmer C85 115 or 120 .
Thanks for the mouthpieces references and adresse. I'm shure it will help me.

The 5 JB is to open for me ... i also have to play my Klose !
When Bill talk about the biggest sound of the Selmer, it's seem to me that we
have the same concept of "Big".

I 'm now playing a B45 (Lyre, opening 127, a little too big for me), it sounds a
little like the B40 but is more confortable for me. I can pratice and use it
is a way for me to understand some clarinet's concepts. (position of
tongue for the sound, staccatos, etc). I will be ""ok"" for the rehearsals i
will have in a few days.
But i know that it is not still the right mouthpiece for me.

Do you have try the "Ligaphone" ligature ? it's a friend of mine who made them.
I use it on my soprano sax since years and it works very well on the clarinet
too.

Lot of pleasure with your music !
Thanks again.

Bill Hausaman :
< You couldtry a Selmer C85 115 or 120 (I use the 115 for big band playing
myself). Vandoren makes a 5JB which is designed as a jazz mouthpiece. It is
VERY open ... The Selmer has the biggest sound of any mouthpiece I have...
