Hello Ed Lacy and Bill Hausmann,

when i talk about an mouthpiece's opening of 120, i use the Vandoren table in
1/100 mm.

On saxophone i' m playing a Guardala Crescent (opening 7*) since 10 years,
with Rico Select 2 hard, with a Kelwerth Ponzol Tenor Sax. Saxophone is my
main instrument since 25 years. And i use to play without a microphone(for
Bill), i think i have a good projection on sax. (after 25 years ;-)

I had study clarinet (4years) when i was a child and i remember a comfort that
i cannot found now. I practice the same exercices than in 1971! ;-)
I pay attention to not overblow, but it's very difficult for me to play the
clarinet and the saxophone during my day practice time.
I will have to play (in a show) some easy clarinet's parts in January !
With staccatos !!!!

My main question is :
- Do you know if the saxophonists have some mouthpieces preferences on clarinet?

I know that is not a very good question. But i'm quite shure that a tendency
exist. For instance (in the opposite) the 5RV and the B40 are difficult to
play for the saxophonists. I don't ask for a model but for some
generals characteristcs. If you think about a model, i will try it. ;-)

The sneezy Clarinet Website is more than great,
thanks a lot for all those precious works.

Good music !

Charles Schneider
