There are some good comments in that archives on this topic.
I used (my personal name is extreme pucker & snarl). As i recall, the
suggestion was to work up to 50 reps.
I used that while i was sick last month and didn't practice for a week.
I did a dozen of the E.P.S. three or four times a day. I had no
endurance problems at the very heavy 2.5 hour rehearsal that week.

When i switch computers (go home) i will see if i can find the reference.
