Have you ever heard Noone, whose sound is much "sweeter" [but was
probably much less powerful] than Kenny Davern?

No, I had not; but I was ordering another CD anyway, and B&N has
the 1928-29 recording with Hines, so I added it to my order. I'm a
sucker for old time recordings, and especially for old time vocals such
as this CD has lots of.
The CD that I'm especially waiting for someone to re-issue (or to
show up for sale in a 'used' rack) is Davern's "One Hour Tonight." I
borrowed it once, but I had to return it -- how unfair, the lady wanted
it back! <sheepish grin>

Cheers,
Bill
