Andrew,
While I'm not exactly offering help about what you're looking for, I would
like to recommend this piece (to play) and a particular recording to the
list. Unfortunately in the CD liner notes there was nothing useful for
you. The recording is by the Transatlantic Trio and in addition to d'Indy,
they play the Brahms trio. Quite an excellent group - Eric Mandat,
Clarinet, and two Latvians - Ivars Bezprozvanovs, Cello, Peteris Plakidis,
piano.
