I was poking around trying to research the Conn Pan American that I
purchased. I was looking to try to date it when I read the article about the
laminates. Were all of them laminates? the reason I ask is that there is
about a quarter inch square chip missing in the bell tenon and I am courious
if the one that I have is a Laninate or if it is a true "rosewood" the grain
look goes through the inside of the bell if this helps
