Watch for wood Cracks. If the instrument has not been dropped and left with
impact damage. I would buy it ASAP. Carefully examine the socket areas for
crack and check the rings for looseness. Check for pin marks which indicate
previous crack repair.
Older Buffets for that Series were considered to be the great Instruments
by many orchestral players. They are well worth having overhauled. Usually
the play even better than the newer clarinets. You are lucky to even find
such a deal.
