<squawk!> Hey folks, I was sitting outside Bil Wright's window when he
read Neil's post re "A History of Western Music, and it's a quick read."
I heard what Bil muttered to himself. <squawk!> I'd like to repeat it:

"Yes! I must buy a copy of that book today.... wait a minute.... does
it make sense to read a discussion of Western music before reading the
music itself....?? Oh dear, this may take longer than I thought. I
suppose Neil means more than just cowboy songs.... Well, there's
nothing to be gained by putting it off.... let's see.... Abaco....
